Financial Services Specialist

You will be an integral piece of the National Account sales process, proactively reconciling open receivables and expediting the resolution of any financial matters related to the assigned portfolio. You are proficient in problem solving and prioritizing activities that have the greatest impact in a fast paced, ever changing environment. You are committed to following departmental policy while still providing a world class customer experience.

While providing a world class customer experience, you maintain the steady flow of sales orders to key customers by reconciling open receivables and expediting the resolution of any problems.

A look at your day-to-day

Research, collect, and resolve past due balances for assigned portfolio to ensure continued flow of orders to dealer network in a timely manner. (40%):
Reach out to accounts payable contacts to request payment status updates.
Prioritize portfolio of collections by days and dollars.
Reconcile any discounts, credits, rebates, allowances, and promotions taken based on customer signed vendor agreement and resolve any disputes
Periodically perform audit of billing process for assigned portfolio by comparing YETI open receivables to key accounts’ open payables (10%):
Reconcile and resolving billing gaps discovered in audit process
Ensure that accounts in assigned portfolio pay within assigned payment terms
Work to help with Credit & Collections Department Reporting for Leadership and for the Sales team. (30%):
This will include periodic/scheduled reports as well as ad hoc requests.
This will include being involved in/tasked with the improvement of existing reports.
Support Account Managers and Outside Sales team in researching billing issues with Dealer Network. (20%)
Internal customer service is a priority and key deliverable for all team members.

Now for a little bit about you….

A Bachelor’s Degree is required
Minimum of 3 years call center type customer service experience
Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Effective communication with customers and coworkers
Strong organization and prioritization abilities
Willingness to assist with miscellaneous projects as needed
Fanatical attention to detail and control-minded
Strong work ethic
Experience in identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements
Understand the flow of information
Comfortable calling accounts as often as necessary to achieve goals
Able to skillfully handle difficult conversations professionally
A self-starting personality that is cool under pressure, not easily frustrated or frazzled, and persistent, despite obstacles and opposition
Known for developing and delivering results on a timely basis
Able to work in an ambiguous, 'internet-speed' environment
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
Ability to work in high-growth, fast paced environment and adaptable to quick change
