Our beautiful new Carpe Diem Campus in Cedar Park is currently seeking Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our team. Job responsibilities include:
*Plan and implement the daily program in accordance with the policies, procedures, and practices of Carpe Diem as described in the Staff Handbook.
*Plan and prepare the learning environment (classroom and playground) and prepare needed supplies, materials, and equipment.
*Assistant Teachers will assist Lead Teacher and staff in planning, preparing and implementing programs. Will also supervise the classroom when the teacher is out of the room.
*Gear the program to the needs of individual children with concern for their interests, special talents, limitations, and individual style and pace of learning.
*Help children become aware of their roles as integral members of a group.
*Encourage and assist in positive social interactions.
*Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.
*Conduct parent conferences regarding all aspects of children’s adjustment and development.

Early Childhood Education experience.

A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.
Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
Must have the ability to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment that supports the education and safety of children.
Highly professional and dependable
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
